TEAM - Rise Academy Charter School
TEAM Charter Schools is a growing network of KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) schools in Newark, New Jersey, proving that students of all backgrounds can succeed in school. We currently serve more than 1,500 African American and Latino students from low income communities. Rise Academy is the second of two middle schools in the TEAM Schools network. Since opening in August 2006, the school has grown to 360 students in grades 5-8.
