Local Funding Partners

NCSF makes grants in partnership with Newark-based foundations. Three of Newark’s long-standing foundations – The MCJ Amelior Foundation, Prudential Foundation, and The Victoria Foundation – have each set aside $1 million for grants that will be made to Newark’s charter school sector in partnership with NCSF.

NCSF expects that its funding for Newark’s charter school sector will be matched over the next several years with $5 million in local funding for charter-related grantees.
